Indivisible East Bay’s “Red Line” Alerts
Red Line Alerts Signal Chat Tips & Info
If you live in the East Bay, the Indivisible East Bay (IEB) Red Line Alerts Signal chat is the place to get FAST notifications when a “red line” is crossed — meaning that some miscreant entity or individual (usually, MAGA) is attempting to steal the election by seizing ballot boxes, stopping the count, denying election results, or engaging in other nefarious conduct.
When this type of thing is occurring, a FAST, people-powered response nationwide in major metro areas like the Bay Area is needed.
Stay ready by taking these steps:
- Ask friends and family in the East Bay to join the Red Line Alert Signal chat
- Get the Signal app and install it first, as this is a Signal chat
- Visit indivisibleeb.org/calendar and/or bayresistance.org/events for more local actions, valuable in themselves — but also good practice to be ready for mass protest action if/when called for
