Alameda Indivisible ‘Voter-Cycle’ – A Community Resource

The Voter-Cycle, brain child of Shalom Bruhn, is a custom-designed, fully equipped electronic bicycle built entirely to be a mobile voter registration station. Combining clean energy technology with grassroots civic engagement, the Voter-Cycle is ready to ride to various community hubs, local farmers’ markets, and neighborhood events throughout Alameda.

Built onto a heavy-duty e-bike frame, the mobile unit features integrated storage for physical registration forms, informational materials, and two secured mailboxes for completed documents. Powered by two electric batteries, the vehicle allows volunteers to easily traverse Alameda’s parks, shorelines, and business districts without the logistical hurdles of setting up tents or tables.
